My Uploads




In the My Uploads section, all the documents and resources that the user uploads to the platform are managed, either to store them as personal information or to share them with other colleagues and/or teachers. To access, click on the user icon at the top of the page and select MyUploads. The page with the list of all the documents uploaded by the student will be shown.




The contents can be filtered both by type of file uploaded and by the class in which they are. To do this, select the desired values in the filter drop-down boxes.


Two types of content can be uploaded:


Documentos: click on UPLOAD at the right side of the screen, In the window that will open, you can select or drag any type of file that you want to upload.

    • The maximum storage size per user is 100 megabytes.
    • If there is already a file with the same name as the one you want to upload, a message will appear warning you of this, and you must modify the name of the new file before uploading it.
    • You can upload more than one file at a time. Select as many as you need and your name will be added at the bottom of the screen. Once you have all selected, press the UPLOAD button and the documents will upload to the platform.
    • If the files exceed the allowed storage size, a message will warn you of this and will not allow the documents to upload. Please delete the files you don't need if you want to upload the new ones.



  • Links: you can create a link to a url. To do this, you must click on the LINKS icon on the right side of the screen and fill in the fields with the full address of the web (starting with http://) as well as a name to recognize it.




These contents can always be edited again by selecting the desired item and pressing the EDIT button at the top of the table. A screen will be displayed with the title, a description and the type of document. If what you want to do is modify the uploaded file, what you will have to do is directly delete the element from the list and upload the correct file.


To know the free storage space you have, click on the corresponding icon, and the requested information will be displayed:



For example, the user has stored a total of 10.56 megabytes.


Share content with other users


All documents and weblinks stored in MyUploads can be shared with classmates, only if the students are registered. These shared files will appear in the Class Library section of the class.


The process is the following:

  • Select the files you want to share and click on the Share option:



  • Select from the drop-down menu the name of the class you want to share it with. Make this content public for everyone in this class or Make this content private between me and the Teacher(s).


  • Click on SHARE and the content will be shared. The icon that indicates that this content has been shared will light up blue in each of the elements:



If the user is in more than one class, they can go through the steps to share the documents again with the other classes.


How to stop sharing MyUploads items


Simply select the shared element and click on EDIT, all the document properties and the list of the classes in which it has been shared will appear. Deselect the class and press SAVE. The item will stop being shared.




How to delete items from MyUploads


Select the item(s) you want to delete. Press the DELETE button displayed at the top of the list. If you delete content that has been shared in the Class Library, it will also disappear.


IMPORTANT NOTE: As Teacher or TM, You will not be able to delete files that are within a created assignment.
