Access code:
Also known as token, or Product Access code.
An Access code is a letter and number code (for example, RP4E5F678923), which refers to a Richmond product, such as a textbook. It is an alphanumeric data that can range from 12 to 20 spaces (e.g. XX00-0X0X-00XX-0XX0) that appear on the inside page of the cover of your book, on a card or sheet added to the book, or delivered by your institution; If it is a digital product, it can reach you by email or in the purchase of the product by eCommerce. You need to enter an access code when you sign up for the Richmond Learning Platform.
Class code:
A Class code is a code with eight letters and numbers (e.g. AB1B02V3), which refers to a class of students in the Richmond Learning Platform. It is an alphanumeric data that includes 8 spaces, it is provided by the Teacher or the institution. It appears on the teacher user home page in the upper right corner of each class box. Your Teacher or the Training Manager at your school or university can give you a Class code to enter and register on the platform. If you enter, you will automatically be added to that class when you complete the registration process. However, it is also possible to register for the Richmond Learning Platform without entering a Class code. You can add it later, or if you are not studying at an institution, you can use the Richmond Learning Platform without being part of a class, independently (Self-Study).
Institution
An Institution is a School, College or University that uses the Richmond Learning Platform. Individual teachers can also register themselves as an institution on the platform. You do not need to study at an institution to use the Richmond Learning Platform, you can register as a Student and study on your own (Self Study).
