Communications Interfaces

The PWA Based RLP is targeted to LatAm markets. Whilst it will be accessed from any part of the world, shared bandwidths of 14Mbps are to be expected in target schools. So, the app should be able to be operated at restricted bandwidths of 7.5 Mbps without timing out. The appropriate mechanisms to achieve this goal shall be in place. These includes, but not limits to:

• Page skeletons, to signal the construction process whilst waiting.
• Download progress indicators, giving the user the possibility to resume a timed-out download.
• Notification services, able to tell the frontend when a background operation has finished.
• All communication between the users and RLP shall be done in a secure socket layer (HTTPS)
