Access code:


Also known as token, or Product Access code.


An Access code or product code is an alphanumeric code made up of letters and numbers (A1B2C3D4E5F6G7H8), which refers to a Richmond product, such as a textbook. The access code can be from 12 to 20 characters (X0X0-0X0X-0X0X-0X0X) and it is on the inside page of the cover of your book, on a card or sheet that comes with the book, or it can be provided by your institution; If you have a digital product that you purchased by eCommerce, you will be provided the code by email. You need to enter an Access code when you register to the Richmond Learning Platform.




Class code:


A Class code is an alphanumeric code made up of eight letters and numbers (A1B2C3D4), which refers to a class of learners on the Richmond Learning Platform. The class code is provided by the Teacher or the institution, and it appears on the Teacher's profile in the upper right corner of each class box. Your teacher or the institution Training Manager can give you a Class Code to register on the platform. When you enter the code, you will automatically be added to that class after you complete the registration process. However, it is also possible to register to the Richmond Learning Platform without entering a Class code. You can opt to add it later. If you are not studying at an institution, you can use the Richmond Learning Platform without being part of a class, as an independent student (Self-Study).





Institution


An Institution is a School, College or University that uses the Richmond Learning Platform. Individual teachers can also register themselves as an institution on the platform. You do not need to study at an institution to use the Richmond Learning Platform, you can register as a Student and study on your own (Self Study).
