In the“My Assignments” section the student will be able to see the assignments that are pending (or those that have already been completed), in addition to the exams. An exam is similar to an assignment, the score will be recorded as a test. These activities have the particularity that they have a timer that indicates the time that the user has to complete it. Likewise, this type of assignment has its own section within the Markbook.
When a student has a new assignment, a star will appear over the My Assignments tab, this way the student will know that he/she has a pending assignment.
In this tab you can find "My Homework", where you will have the assignments that are homework and "My Tests", which contains the tests that the teacher assigns . The exams have a shorter duration.

When an activity has not been started, it is marked as Not Started. Once the student clicks on the activity and has started it, it will appear as Started and when completed a note will appear.
It is also possible that the assignment is not composed of interactive activities, but consists of an attached document. When clicking on the assignment, the student will see the following menu →
Once you have completed the assignment, you will need to drag the file into the window or click "Choose a file" to upload it and the Submit button becomes enabled. When you are sure that the uploaded file corresponds to the correct assignment, click on the Submit button.
These types of activities have a manual evaluation, therefore, the student will see the message “pending marks” when they have submitted the activity. This means that the teacher has received the assignment, but has not evaluated it yet.
