To keep users informed about new (unseen) notifications.

Goal

Metric

The user receives an alert for activities, assignments, assessments, or updates received.

Notifications for teachers can include:

  • Forum responses.

  • Generated reports.

  • Submitted assignments.

  • Tests completed.

  • Relevant information about the RLP.

Notifications for students can include:

  • New Assignments

  • New Tests

The user will see the 5 most recent notifications.

On click/tap the notifications icon will display the 5 most recent received notifications, marked by a red dot, indicating that they are unread notifications.

Read notifications will not have this red mark.

To mark notifications as read, click/tap <Mark all as read>

The user will see all received notifications.

On click/tap the <View all notifications> option will open the space where all received notifications, both new and read notifications, can be viewed.

  • There will be notifications whenever assignments are submitted, a report is requested, or there is a response in the forum.

If no new notifications are received, the notifications icon will not display any numbers, and on click/tap, only the read notifications will be visible, and they will not have the red dot.

To return to the Dashboard, click/tap on the <Go Back> option.
